dbfrp

Author: Alan McCollough (All RIAForge projects by this author) Description:
dbfrp allows you to do a search through database fields, and do a Find-and-Replace on the contents therein. Searches can be regex or plain ol' find/replace.
Replaces are written out to temp files so there is an `undo` should you need to roll back changes. One use of this would be cleaning up text within a blogging app. Ever wanted to change all those [i] tags to [em]? With dbfrp, you can do that. I've also used dbfrp for cleaning out "invalidTag instances where "Global Script Protection" was enabled while I had my blog hosted on a separate provider.
Requirements:
The application should run with any flavor of ColdFusion 6.0 or greater, BlueDragon, or Railo. The app does write files using CFFILE, so if you are on a shared hosting environment, you will need access to CFFILE.
